It’s always safety first at My Heart’s Home, so that our residents feel safe to pursue their dreams and passions.

Volunteer and Work Opportunities

We provide on-site work, community service, and volunteer opportunities that empower residents to develop new skills, build confidence, and contribute to their communities. Whether through structured employment programs, hands-on volunteer work, or collaborative service projects, individuals gain valuable experience while fostering a sense of purpose and fulfillment. By encouraging active participation, we help residents grow personally and professionally, strengthening their independence and connection to the community.

We’re also developing ties to organizations that will provide young professionals with opportunities for workforce development/education on-site in our communities. With direct support professional shortages limiting the independence of people with developmental disabilities and veterans across the country, we’re a part of the solution. We’re finding, training, and keeping them!
